From San Francisco to Chicago, and everywhere around South Carolina, 2022 has been an amazing year of weddings and events here at Alexandra Madison Weddings. With over 70 weddings in 2022, we have had quite an exciting year! Read along for some of the highlights of this year at AMW.
A Southern based company, here are some of your favorite local weddings we did this year.
Madison and Adam at Magnolia Way in late May. Madison's Vogue style bridesmaid photo was our most popular post on Instagram this year! We love the pale blues, the greenery and florals, and of course, the ginger jar details!
Alexis and George at the Creek Club at I'on in dreamy Charleston. Fun fact, Dori started out at AMW as one of our team assistants back in college! We loved seeing her grow and watch her wedding dreams come truer.
Baylen and Sarah (one of our very own lead planners!) got married this past September at the Cotton Press! The bright color palette and florals gave their early fall wedding a lush and vivid vibe. Her flat lay was our most popular this year- who doesn't love that personalized yellow velvet ring box?!
Being based in Columbia, SC doesn't stop us from making your dream come true anywhere! From Santa Fe to Chicago, here are some of our favorite destination weddings from 2022.
Nicholas and Tristan celebrated in the most show stopping way- at the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco, California. The city, the lighting, the love-what a memorable way to celebrate!
In the midwest, Hannah and Emil celebrated their union with a cozy October wedding in Chicago, Illinois. After a grand church ceremony, Artifact Events provided the perfect venue for the festivities. We just had to feature these fun, but simple bottles used as escort signs!
June took us to Santa Fe, New Mexico to wed Alicia and Shak in a stunning southwestern celebration at the Gerald Peters Gallery. The destination, the terracotta, the desert florals- the entire aesthetic was unlike anything we have done before!
With all our team's hard work, we were honored to be featured in numerous wedding publications this year, including Junebug Weddings, Brides.com, The Knot, Modern Weddings, Magnolia Rogue, and Gay Weddings & Marriage Magazine.
We love helping a client bring their personal vision to life, but we also love to flex our own creative muscles. With the help of our marketing team, we are able to create fun styled editorial shoots. This year we did five styled shoots, each unique with their own distinct theme.
Our first shoot of the year was our Emerald Dreams styled shoot at the historic Wavering Place venue. The focus was on deep tones, with an emphasis on emerald green. We wanted to create a lush, but slightly rustic vibe, while still being elegant.
In April, we helped a real couple (and friend, Sarah Pascutti) in their vow renewal. We created a gorgeous editorial scene and shoot for this intimate family affair at the Gibbes Museum in Charleston. Some of our aesthetic inspiration came from this year's "cottage core" trends combined with this classic museum space. This shoot was featured on Magnolia Rogue!
As one of the most talked about shows of the year and many aesthetic trends emerging from it, Bridgerton was our inspiration behind this secret garden shoot. It was truly a fairytale come to life!
Late summer inspired dreams of New England and Nantucket, of oysters and pearls and seashells and bows. The Mansion on Blanding was the perfect spot for our New England Oyster inspired shoot. From the blue touches to rattan details, this chic shoot was a fantasy!
Our final shoot of the year combined the fall feel of the season with a light and airy brightness. At the stunning Separk Mansion outside of Charlotte, North Carolina, we set up our brunch inspired Wildflower Wonder styled shoot. Bright autumn colors, delicious pastries, and moss details are just the beginning of what made this shoot special!
This year wouldn't have been possible without our amazing team all year long! A huge shoutout to our lead planners, our lead assistants, and all the incredible interns that graced our door in 2022.
