We are thrilled to announce the ladies behind Alexandra Madison Weddings this Spring! This team is made up of a group women, including our Lead Team, Marketing Coordinators, and Planning Associates. Below you will find a deeper look into to people behind AMW!
Lead Team
Alexandra Woodlief - Owner & Lead Planner/Designer
Alexandra is the owner and lead designer behind Alexandra Madison Weddings! Alexandra founded AMW in 2013 and has training & wedding experience all across the country. She has widespread experience across event management from catering, rentals, venue management, and of course, wedding planning! Her favorite part of the wedding day is the cake cutting, as she loves how special that first moment is between the new couple!
Kendra Nedell - Lead Planner
Kendra joined our team in 2022 and is one of our Lead Planners. Originally from Virginia, Kendra graduated from Washington & Lee University with a major in Business Administration and a minor in Studio Art. Kendra is a Charleston-based planner and she enjoys Charleston weddings, as the city has such a variety of beautiful venues! Her favorite parts of the wedding day are the unique elements the couples choose to include that have special meanings to them!
Helen Enghauser - Lead Planner
Helen joined our AMW team this year. She is originally from Chicago, Illinois and graduated from the University of Charleston, where she has now lived for 8 years. Helen's favorite thing about weddings is when the couple does a special exit or includes something different like an ice cream truck! She enjoys the dancing and watching the brides and grooms be loved by people around them!
Parker Coggins - Lead Planner
Originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, Parker is one of our Charlotte-based Lead Planners. After graduating from USC, Parker helped expand AMW further into North Carolina starting in 2019. Parker has experience in events, private clubs, catering, banquets, and golf tournaments. Her wedding cake of choice is sweet potato with Amaretto icing! Parker's favorite wedding trend is anything specialty monogrammed, as she feels it adds a personal touch to wedding day details!
Abby Fox - Lead Planner
Abby joined the AMW team 2 years ago and is now one of our Lead Planners! Originally from Utah, Abby graduated from the University of Utah in 2022 with a degree in Business Management and Marketing. Abby loves working with AMW as she enjoys providing guidance to brides, planning all of the little details, and working with the other team members. Abby's favorite parts of the wedding day are the first dance and the reception reveals!
Katherine Rentz - Production Manager & Marketing
As the AMW production manager, Katherine works closely with our marketing team and coordinates all of our styled shoots. She graduated from USC with a degree in Marketing & Business Economics, and her favorite part about working for AMW is creating new and meaningful connections with team members, vendors, and clients. Katherine plays a variety of roles within the AMW team, and she has been a great mentor to this season's team of interns!
Sarah-Elizabeth Rhyne - Lead Planner
Sarah-Elizabeth joined our team in 2021. She is a lead planner with a heavy focus on onboarding our brides. She is from Columbia, SC and graduated from USC with a degree in hospitality management. She comes from a culinary background with experience in private clubs and golf tournaments. Sarah-Elizabeth's favorite part of the wedding planning process is meeting the brides and getting to know their sweet families! Her favorite cake flavor is classic vanilla, it's timeless and never goes out of style.
Alex Morning - Lead Planner
Alex joined the team in August 2022. She is from Charleston, SC and manages Bella Bridesmaids in while assisting AMW on our wedding days! She went to college of Charleston for hospitality and tourism Management. Alex’s favorite thing about weddings is working with brides to style their wedding party, mother of the occasion, flower girl, and then seeing the vision of their wedding come true! Her favorite weddings cake flavor is white cake with strawberries!
MK Kovalchik - Special Orders Assistant Lead
MK joined our team as a Planning Coordinator and is now our Retail Manager! She loves that her position incorporates both planning and retailing into her work. She is from Suwanee, Georgia and is currently studying fashion merchandising and the University of South Carolina. One of her favorite parts about working with AMW is seeing the brides' visions come to life through the designed merchandise! In her free time, she loves to bake, go shopping, and hang out with her friends!

Tory McNeish - Planning Associate
Tory is a Planning Intern from Columbia, South Carolina. She is a senior and majoring in Management HR. Tory's dream wedding location is Charleston, South Carolina. This spring she is excited to see all the different weddings and what couples choose to do with the planning of their wedding!
Sophia Salafia - Planning Associate
Sophia is a Planning Intern from Columbia, Maryland. She is currently a senior and majoring in Risk Management and Insurance. Sophia's dream wedding is Lake Como, Italy. She is excited to set up and be apart of all the different weddings!
Caroline Traynor - Planning Associate
Caroline is a Planning Intern from Downingtown, Pennsylvania. She is a junior majoring in Hospitality Management. Her dream wedding location is Isla Belle Resort in Florida! Caroline's looking forward to learning all the details that go into wedding planning!
Amelia Kudela - Planning Associate
Amelia is a Planning Intern from Charlotte, North Carolina. She is currently a senior and majoring in Public Relations. Amelia's dream wedding destination is in Charleston! She is excited to discover new things this spring and be able to implement them into her own wedding someday!
Arden DuVal - Planning Associate
Arden is a Planning Intern from Baltimore, Maryland. She is a sophomore and majoring in Hospitality Management. Her dream wedding location is the Inn at Perry Cabin or Charleston! This spring, Arden is most excited to experience new venues and and see new wedding trends!
Sara Twisdale - Planning Associate
Sara is joining us for her second semester as a Planning Intern. She is a sophomore from Virginia Beach and is majoring in Risk Management and Insurance. Her dream wedding location is Kiawah Island, SC! This spring she is excited to visit more Charleston venues and see weddings come to life!
Amelia Hathaway - Planning Associate
Amelia is a Planning Intern and is originally from Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. She is currently a junior at USC and majoring in Hospitality Management. Amelia's dream wedding location is Lowdes Groves or Ocean Course on Kiawah. She is excited to see the weddings come to life that she’s helped plan!

Mia Besl - Marketing Coordinator
Mia is a Marketing Intern from Cincinnati, Ohio. She is a sophomore majoring in Advertising! Her dream wedding location is Nantucket, Massachusetts. Mia is excited to see all the behind the scenes of a wedding!
Collins Ham - Marketing Coordinator
Collins is a Marketing Intern from Murrells Inlet, South Carolina. She is currently a sophomore majoring in Marketing. Her dream wedding location is Charleston! She is most excited to gain marketing experience through her social media platforms and working weddings!
Izzy Brinskelle - Marketing Coordinator
Izzy is a Marketing Intern and is from Burlington, North Carolina. She is currently a freshman at USC and majoring in Public Relations. Her dream wedding location in Beaufort, North Carolina. She is excited learn and exercise new marketing skills this spring and playing a part in a couples special day!
Ella Barret - Marketing Coordinator
Ella is a Marketing Intern and is originally from Bethesda, Maryland. She is currently a sophomore at USC and majoring in Mass Communications. Ella's dream wedding locations is Italy! This spring she is excited to gain more hands on experience with marketing and wedding planning!
Reese Berke - Marketing Coordinator
Reese is a Marketing Intern and is from Chicago, Illinois. She is currently a freshman at USC and is majoring in Marketing. Her dream wedding location is the Brooklyn Botanical gardens. Reese is excited to see all the different beautiful wedding venues!
