Romantic Tuscan-Inspired Styled Wedding Shoot

Our romantic Tuscan-inspired styled shoot took place in Columbia, SC at one of the historic Columbia properties, The Robert Mills House and Gardens. We focused on the lush European styled gardens which features a brand new pergola install. During styling, we encouraged vendors to use rich fall color palettes such as rust, cinnamon rose, ivory, deep greens, and soft amber. We reached out to a new woman-owned local florist, Poppy & Co., and she portrayed our vision perfectly!

Our bride, Annie, was styled by Rachel Crocker with a loose updo and dainty headpiece, and a fitted gown from New York Bride and Groom of Columbia.

Specialty features for this shoot included a delicately layered cake, a gelato cart, and velvet accents. AMW strives to inspire couples to explore with unique color palettes and implement different and exciting new concepts into their wedding. Our hope for this shoot is that it brings inspiration to our vendors and couples to infuse romantic, elegant, and charming European features into your wedding! We are in love this this theme, color palette, and unique elements, and we hope you are too! The Models

The beautiful husband and wife duo, Annie Wooten and Jay Wooten of Columbia, SC, were the hand-picked models for this romantic tuscan styled shoot. Annie's loose updo and elegant makeup was styled by Rachel Crocker Beauty and her attire by New York Bride and Groom of Columbia. Jay's elegant velvet bowties and pocket squares were handmade by Iris Atelier of Chicago.

The Gardens

The venue for this romantic shoot was The Robert Mills House and Gardens located in the historic district of Columbia, SC. The Robert Mills House and Gardens provides for the most picturesque setting for events such as weddings, engagement photos, and more.

Catering

Southern Way, based in Columbia, SC, provided the very delicious hor-d'oeuvres and beverages for this European styled wedding shoot. Southern Way specializes in catering events all throughout the southeast including intimate dinners, elegant weddings, and corporate galas. Florals

The beautiful florals featured in this shoot were specially designed by Kendall Andrews from The Poppy Co. She is based in Columbia, South Carolina and her love for floral design shines through every single one of her gorgeous bouquets and arrangements!

Sweets

The amazing sweets were provided to our tuscan-inspired shoot by the amazing Ally & Eloise Bakeshop. The cake, croissants, and macaroons were the perfect touches for the occasion and paired perfectly with the wedding theme. Ally & Eloise Bakeshop its located in Columbia, South Carolina and is a bakery that strives to produce homemade baked sweets with the freshest ingredients for every occasion!

Velvet Vintage Furniture

Charmingly Southern Vintage is a full service vintage rental company that provides elegant vintage furniture, decor, and more for any event! We are so obsessed with this amber vintage velvet chair from Charmingly Southern Vintage!

Custom Invitation Suite

Oak & Orchid is the designer of these beautiful custom wedding invitations and stationery. They created the most perfect invitation suite for our romantic European styled wedding shoot.

Event Rentals

Party Reflections provided our beautiful place settings for this shoot. We wanted to infuse the very popular blush wedding color into the setting and fell in love with the blush and white china paired with rose gold flatware. We also love the look of the acrylic chairs and the ivory satin linen. Party Reflections is a special event equipment rental company with locations in Charlotte, Columbia, Raleigh, Greensboro, and Winston-Salem.

Specialty Vendors

There is nothing we love more than adding a fun specialty accent to a wedding or styled shoot! Whether it be a live painter, coffee cart, champagne bus, etc. What's more European than a vespa and gelato? The white European vespa was provided to this shoot by Hawg Scooters of Columbia, SC. We are so obsessed with the idea of riding off into the Tuscan sun with your new hubby or wife on a vespa! But of course not until you enjoy a yummy cup of gelato from the Gnam Gnam Gelato Cart!
