Whether you are a North Carolina local or someone from out of town who fell in love with the city, Charlotte is an amazing place to host your big day. A city like Charlotte has countless places to choose from, too many for one bride to look through all on her own! Here we have curated a list of some of our favorite venues to help you find your perfect wedding day location.
VanLandingham Estate
Nestled in the trendy Plaza Midwood neighborhood, the VanLandingham Estate is a piece of history made new again. With 7,088 square feet of inside space, as well as a 5,600 square foot outdoor patio, this quaint venue can execute a wide range of styles and layouts. While its American craftsman style highlights its period-appropriate exposed stone and chandeliers, we can’t forget to mention the estate’s beautiful garden that looks like it was taken straight out of a fairytale.
Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens
We have one word for the Daniel Stowe Botanical Gardens: breathtaking! Able to fit anywhere from 30 to 500 guests, this venue can handle any of your wedding fantasies, no matter the size. Another thing we love about Daniel Stowe is its versatility. It boasts a handful of both indoor and outdoor Garden areas, including an Orchid Conservatory. If you are looking for a jaw-dropping day filled with florals, we highly recommend considering these gardens.
The Terrace At Cedar Hill
Situated on the top floor of a historic uptown brick building, The Terrace At Cedar Hill provides its guests with a gorgeous panoramic view of the Charlotte skyline. With 4,500 square feet of indoor space, along with a 2,000 square foot covered outdoor terrace, this venue offers plenty of room to hold your big day.
The Andrews Farm
As a third-generation family farm, The Andrews Farm holds an abundance of quaint history. Although it was originally only used for farming, this space has developed into so much more. As of 2020, the family has started hosting weddings and other special events in the modern European-inspired farmhouse that some of the members built. If you are searching for a place to make your European wedding dreams come true, look no further than The Andrews Farm!
